Imran Raza Ansari
Imran Reza Ansari (born 7 March 1972) is a Kashmiri politician and a well known Shia cleric succeeding his father Iftikhar Hussain Ansari after later's death. He belongs to the influential Ansari family. He won elections from the Pattan constituency and was nominated as Minister of Information Technology, Technical Education and Youth Services and Sports. Imran is the grandson of marhoom Molvi Jawad Ansari and also the nephew of Abid Hussain Ansari. Early life and education Imran Reza Ansari was born to Kashmir's influential Shia religious cleric Iftikhar Hussain Ansari on 7 March 1970. He is elder to his brother Irfan Reza Ansari and younger to his sister. Raza Ansari had his matriculation from Tyndale Biscoe School in Srinagar. Pattan
Pattan is a sub-district, town and a municipal committee in Baramulla district in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Location Pattan is surrounded by Breng Block towards North, Kunzer block towards the south, Narbal block towards east, Singhpora block towards west. This place is near the border of the Baramulla, Budgam and Ganderbal districts. Budgam district and Beerwah are south of this place. History This historical town is considered to have been established by the famous Hindu king Shankarvarman, son of Awantivarman of Utpala dynasty, in the 9th century AD. As per Kalhana's Rajatarangini, Shankarvarman built a town named Pattana. Pandits write it as ‘Pathan’, ‘The Path’, as it falls on the important route to Baramulla. Sajad Gani Lone (born 1966) is an Indian politician, and former Member of the Legislative Assembly elected from the Handwara constituency. He is the chairman of Jammu and Kashmir People's Conference. Early and personal life Sajjad Lone was born on 9 December 1966. Sajjad Gani Lone is the youngest of the two sons of Abdul Ghani Lone, who was assassinated in a rally in Srinagar in 2002. Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) is an organisation that governs and manages cricket in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It fields the Jammu and Kashmir cricket team in the Ranji Trophy domestic tournament. It is a member of the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
