Imperative Reaction is an American electro-industrial band founded in 1996 by Ted Phelps and David Andrecht from the remains of the band Digital Neural Assault. History A demo tape titled ''Debris'' was originally released in 1996, but was eventually recalled and destroyed as the band chose to go a different direction. The band's next effort, a demo entitled ''Persistence of Memory'', featured the track "Predicate", which was included on Possessive Blindfold car Recordings compilation album ''Exoskeleton Vol. 1''. The band's first studio album, ''Eulogy For The Sick Child'', was released in February 1999. The next month, it had reached the top ten of CMJ's (RPM) charts. The popularity of the album in the United States caused Zoth Ommog Records to pick it up for European distribution in April 1999. The Azoic is an electronic music band that was formed in Columbus, Ohio in February 1996. History In October 1996, they received a record contract from Worm Records and released their first CD, ''The Divine Suffering'', in April 1997. Shawn left the band in early 1998 to pursue an alternate musical direction. Their second CD, ''Where Broken Angels Lie'', was released in May 1998 with Nilaihah Records, which was started by Kristy to promote talented, original electronic bands. ''Forward'', The Azoic's third CD, was released on Nilaihah Records in 2001. They also released thConflict EPin 2003 on Nilaihah Records and a video for the title track on YouTubeConflict Video. Combichrist
Combichrist is an American aggrotech / industrial metal band formed in 2003 by Norwegian vocalist Andy LaPlegua, who also founded the bands Icon of Coil, Panzer AG, Scandinavian Cock and Scandy. Combichrist was formed in Atlanta, Georgia and is now based in Oak Hill, Florida. The band consists of only LaPlegua in the studio, with a changing lineup of live performing members. Releases by the band have been very successful in terms of sales and charted in top positions for dance and alternative charts worldwide. Bruderschaft
Bruderschaft is an electronic music collective led by New York City-based DJ Rexx Arkana. Conceived as a charity project focused on cancer research and treatment in the wake of Arkana's father's death from the disease, Bruderschaft brought together a large number of artists from the underground electronic music scene for the production of the band's first single, "Forever": the collaboration of Arkana (lyrics), Ronan Harris (VNV Nation - vocals), Sebastian Komor (Icon of Coil - programming/production), Joakim Montelius (Covenant (band), Covenant - samples/loops) and Stephan Groth (Apoptygma Berzerk - backing vocals). The Carnegie Mellon CyLab Security and Privacy Institute is a computer security research center at Carnegie Mellon University.
