Impera
''Impera'' is the fifth studio album by the Swedish rock band Ghost. Released on 11 March 2022, it was produced by Klas Åhlund who also produced the band's 2015 album, ''Meliora''. The release of ''Impera'' was preceded by three singles: the first, " Hunter's Moon", was released on 30 September 2021 in support of the 2021 slasher film ''Halloween Kills'' with a version being a part of the film's closing credits; the second single, "Call Me Little Sunshine", was released on 20 January 2022 and the third, "Twenties", was released on 2 March 2022. The theme of ''Impera'' mainly focuses on "the rise and fall of empires". Multiple outside songwriters assisted with the album, including pop producers Salem Al Fakir and Vincent Pontare, Kent lead singer Joakim Berg and The Cardigans guitarist Peter Svensson. Ghost (Swedish Band)
Ghost is a Swedish rock band that was formed in Linköping in 2006. In 2010, they released a three-track demo followed by a 7-inch vinyl titled "Elizabeth", and later their debut full-length album ''Opus Eponymous''. The song "Ritual" was chosen by ''Kerrang!'' as one of "The 50 Most Evil Songs Ever." The Grammis-nominated album was widely praised and significantly increased their popularity. Hunter's Moon (song)
"Hunter's Moon" is a song by Swedish rock band Ghost. It was released on 30 September 2021 in support of the 2021 slasher film ''Halloween Kills''; although it does not feature on the film's soundtrack, it plays over the end credits. A music video for the song was released the same day. On 20 January 2022, the band announced that the song was confirmed to be featured on their fifth studio album, ''Impera'', which was released on 11 March 2022. Two versions of the song were recorded. The single version, released on 30 September 2021, was produced by Klas Åhlund and mixed by Andy Wallace, while a version featured in the end credits of ''Halloween Kills'' was produced by Rob Cavallo and Tom Dalgety and mixed by Doug McKean. ''Seven Inches of Satanic Panic'' is a release by the Swedish rock band Ghost. First released digitally on 13 September 2019 by Loma Vista Recordings, it features the songs "Kiss the Go-Goat" and "Mary on a Cross", written by vocalist Tobias Forge along with songwriters Salem al Fakir and Vincent Pontare. It was later released on 7" vinyl. ''Seven Inches of Satanic Panic'' has been described as a two-track EP and as a single. Tobias Forge
Tobias Forge (; born 3 March 1981) is a Swedish singer, musician, and songwriter. He is the leader and primary songwriter of the masked rock band Ghost, performing live as their vocalist under the stage names Papa Emeritus and Cardinal Copia. Although the band was formed in 2006, Forge's identity as the Ghost frontman was only confirmed in 2017, following a lawsuit by former band members due to a royalty dispute. Prior to finding success, he was in several other bands, including Repugnant and Crashdïet, under the stage name Mary Goore. For his musical accomplishments, Forge was awarded the 2019 Platinagitarren award from STIM, who explained "With one foot standing firmly on the metal floor, Forge is a composer pushing the boundaries of the genre." Klas Frans Åhlund (born 11 April 1972) is a Swedish songwriter, record producer, and guitarist. He is the founding member of the Swedish rock band Teddybears. As a songwriter and producer, he has worked with artists such as Robyn, Sugababes, Jordin Sparks, Teddybears, Eagle-Eye Cherry, Kesha, Kylie Minogue, Bo Kaspers Orkester, Britney Spears, Melody Club, Katy Perry, Madonna, and Ghost. Andy Wallace (born 1947 in New Jersey) is an American music studio producer, audio and mixing engineer with a long track record of productions. Over the years, he focused exclusively on mixing. Wallace is known for his "sonically influential presence on the current music scene", and has "helped to make some of the most brutal, aggressive music released and also some of the most beautiful". Herbert Joakim "Jocke" Berg (born 16 March 1970 in Eskilstuna, Sweden) is a Swedish singer, songwriter and musician, best known as the lead singer of Swedish Rock/Pop band Kent. Berg rarely gives interviews, saying in one: less is more. Berg has tended to write lyrics in Swedish because he wants to avoid the use of cliché-ridden English lyrics, which often happens when Swedish artists sing in English.
