Jeong Eon-yeong ( ko, 정언영), better known as Impact, is a South Korean ''League of Legends'' player for FlyQuest of the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS). Impact won the Season 3 League of Legends World Championship as a member of SK Telecom T1 K. He played for both Team Impulse and NRG Esports in the LCS, before transferring to Cloud9 in May 2016. Impact left Cloud9 after the 2017 season and joined Team Liquid, where he won four LCS titles before departing the team for Evil Geniuses after the end of the 2020 season. Career Xenics Storm Impact began his career as a support player for Xenics Storm in 2012, and the team managed to place third in spring. 2022 LCS Season
The 2022 LCS season is the fifth year of North America's League Championship Series, a professional esports league for the MOBA PC game ''League of Legends'', under partnership and the tenth overall. The Lock In tournament began on January 14 and concluded on January 30 with Team Liquid defeating Evil Geniuses 3–0. The spring regular season began on February 5 and will conclude with the Mid-Season Showdown, which will start on April 2 and finish on April 24 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. The summer split began on June 18 and will finish with the Summer Playoffs, which will begin on August 20 and conclude with the Summer Finals. Rift Rivals (RR) was a series of cross-regional ''League of Legends'' tournaments organized by Riot Games from 2017–2019. Rift Rivals was five concurrent tournaments where related regions would be pitted against each other. Teams who placed the best in the Spring Split (or other opening season) of the year were invited to a tournament against another region's top teams. ''League of Legends'' Champions Korea (LCK) is the primary competition for ''League of Legends'' esports in South Korea. Contested by ten teams, the league runs two seasons per year and serves as a direct route to qualification for the annual ''League of Legends'' World Championship. The LCK is administered in cooperation between Riot Games and KeSPA.
