Imogen Allison
Imogen Allison (born 24 April 1998) is an English netball player, who has represented the national side since 2020. At club level, she is the captain of Team Bath and has previously played for Yorkshire Jets. Club career Allison plays as a wing defence. She played for Yorkshire Jets in the 2016 Netball Superleague season. She joined Team Bath ahead of the 2017 season. She re-signed for Bath for the 2018 season. During the 2019 season, Allison was Bath's captain when regular captains Eboni Usoro-Brown and Serena Guthrie were away on international duty. She was shortlisted for the 2019 Superleague Young Player of the Year Award, and later re-signed for Bath for the 2020 season. She was named Bath's Player of the Year for the 2021 Netball Superleague season, and later captained Bath in the 2021 British Fast5 Netball All-Stars Championship, a tournament which they won. The Brooksbank School is a secondary school with Academy (English school), academy status in Elland, near Halifax, West Yorkshire, Halifax in West Yorkshire, England. 2021 Netball Superleague Season
The 2021 Netball Superleague season was the sixteenth season of the Netball Superleague, the elite domestic netball competition in the United Kingdom. The season started on 12 February 2021. Manchester Thunder were the defending champions, as they won the 2019 season and the 2020 season was cancelled after three rounds due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of the ongoing pandemic, the first nine weeks of matches were held at Studio 001 in Wakefield, and the remaining matches were held at the Copper Box Arena in London. All matches were originally scheduled to be held behind closed doors, though from week 17 onwards, limited numbers of fans were permitted into matches, due to a change in the UK Government guidelines. In the league section, Loughborough Lightning finished top, ahead of Manchester Thunder, Team Bath and Leeds Rhinos, who finished second, third and fourth respectively. Jade Clarke
Jade Bridget Clarke (born 17 October 1983 in Manchester, England) is an English netball player. Primarily a midcourt defender, Clarke was selected for the England national netball team in 2002, making her senior debut the following year against New Zealand. During her international career, she has competed at five Netball World Championships (2003, 2007, 2011, 2015 and 2019), four Commonwealth Games (2006, 2010 and 2014, 2018), and the 2009 and 2011 World Netball Series. Clarke plays domestic netball in the Netball Superleague, having played four seasons with Loughborough Lightning before switching to the Northern Thunder for 2009–10. 2020 Taini Jamison Trophy Series
The 2020 Taini Jamison Trophy Series, also known as the 2020 Cadbury Netball Series saw England play New Zealand in October and November 2020 in a three-match series. It was the first international netball test series to be staged since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The two teams contested the Taini Jamison Trophy, which was last staged in 2018. Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a contagious disease caused by a virus, the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Wasps Netball
Wasps Netball were an English netball team based at the Coventry Building Society Arena in Coventry, Warwickshire. Wasps Netball was formed in 2016 as a partnership with the Premiership Rugby team, Wasps RFC. Since 2017 their senior team has played in the Netball Superleague. The 2022 Netball Quad Series was the seventh Netball Quad Series of test matches, contested by four of the five highest ranked nations in netball.
