Ilze Bērziņa (born 4 January 1984 in Rīga) is a Latvian chess player who holds the title of Woman Grandmaster (2009). She won the Latvian Chess Championship for women in 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2019. Ilze Nagy (''née'' Blicavs) is a former Australian women's basketball player. Biography Blicavs played for the Australia women's national basketball team during the 1970s and competed for Australia at the 1975 World Championship held in Colombia. Playing in an era before the creation of the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) in 1981, Blicavs played for Sturt in the South Australian competition. Blicavs won the Halls Medal for the best and fairest player in the South Australian Women's competition on two occasions; 1973 and 1984. Blicavs is married to Boti Nagy, who played basketball for South Australia at the national level during the 1970s. Their daughter, Ieva, played basketball for Troy University. Ilze Graubiņa (Riga, 8 November 1941 – 24 January 2001) was a Latvian pianist. She was trained at the Moscow Conservatory under Abram Shatskes and Jakov Flier, to whom she subsequently served as an assistant. Ilze Hattingh (born 22 April 1996) is a South African former professional tennis player. Born in Durban, Hattingh was introduced to tennis at the age of seven. On the ITF Junior Circuit, she was ranked as high as world No. 49, which she achieved in January 2013. She has held the position as South Africa's junior number one girl tennis player on multiple occasions. On the ITF Women's Circuit, she reached one $10k semifinal in singles, in Potchefstroom in December 2012. She also made her debut for the South Africa Fed Cup team in 2012. Ilze Jaunalksne-Rēdere, born November 19, 1976 in Jūrmala) is a Latvian journalist and an author and anchor of the TV3 Latvia current affairs program ''Nekā personīga'' (Nothing Personal) since 2008. From 2005 to 2008 she was an anchor for the Latvian Television channel LTV1 current affairs program ''De Facto.'' In March 2006 on ''De Facto'', she broke the story of Latvian national political leaders from various different parties buying votes. Her reporting on this caused a minister to be forced to resign, and some high-ranking political figures to be indicted. In retaliation, her phone was illegally tapped and transcripts of her conversations released to the media by her opponents in the government. Ilze Viņķele (born Ilze Vidiņa on 27 November 1971 in Rēzekne) is a Latvian politician, and the former Minister for Welfare and Minister for Health of Latvia. Currently, she is a member of the political party Movement For!, a part of the Development/For! alliance.
