Ilya Shkurin
Ilya Shkurin ( be, Ілля Шкурын; russian: Илья Шкурин; born 17 August 1999) is a Belarusian professional footballer who plays as centre-forward for Polish club Stal Mielec. He is also under contract with Russian club CSKA Moscow, but that contract is suspended. He will join Stal on a permanent basis on 1 July 2024. Club career In the 2019 season, he became the top scorer of the Belarusian Premier League with 19 goals scored. On 8 January 2020, Shkurin was transferred to FC Dynamo Brest, and the next day he was re-sold by Dynamo to the Russian Premier League club PFC CSKA Moscow. He signed a 4,5-year contract with CSKA. Shkurin was handed the number 99 shirt until the end of the 2019–20 season, due to Premier League rules stipulating he couldn't use the number 11 as it had previously been used by Lucas Santos that season. BATE Borisov were the defending champions, having won their 12th consecutive league title and 14th overall last year, and successfully defended their crown. Teams The bottom two teams from the 2017 season ( Slavia Mozyr and Naftan Novopolotsk) were relegated to the 2018 Belarusian First League. They were replaced by Luch Minsk and Smolevichi, champions and runners-up of the 2017 Belarusian First League respectively. The Israel State Cup ( he, גביע המדינה, ''Gvia HaMedina''), is a knockout cup competition in Israeli football, run by the Israel Football Association (IFA). The State Cup was first held in 1928 as the People's Cup. Because it involves clubs of all standards playing against each other, there is the possibility for "minnows" from the lower divisions to become "giant-killers" by eliminating top clubs from the tournament, although lower division teams rarely reach the final. The Polish Cup in football ( pl, Puchar Polski w piłce nożnej ) is an elimination tournament for Polish football clubs, held continuously from 1950, and is the second most important national title in Polish football after the Ekstraklasa title. Due to mass participation of teams, the tournament is often called ''The Cup of the Thousand Teams'' ( pl, Puchar Tysiąca Drużyn ). Participation is open to any club registered with the Polish FA, regardless of whether it competes in any league in the national pyramid.
