Ilya Mironov (figure Skater)
Ilya Mikhailovich Mironov (russian: Илья Михайлович Миронов, born 17 April 2001) is a Russian pair skater. He and his former skating partner, Diana Mukhametzianova, were the 2020 Winter Youth Olympic silver medalists and the 2019–20 Junior Grand Prix Final silver medalists. Personal life Mironov was born on 17 April 2001 in Moscow, Russia. Career Early years Mironov began learning how to skate in 2005. He competed internationally as a single skater on the junior level from the 2014–15 figure skating season through the 2017–18 season, after which he switched to pairs and teamed up with his current partner, Diana Mukhametzianova. Short Program (figure Skating)
The short program of figure skating is the first of two segments of competitions, skated before the free skating program. It lasts, for both senior and junior singles and pair skaters, 2 minutes and 40 seconds. In synchronized skating, for both juniors and seniors, the short program lasts 2 minutes and 50 seconds. Vocal music with lyrics is allowed for all disciplines since the 2014-2015 season. The short program for single skaters and for pair skaters consists of seven required elements, and there are six required elements for synchronized skaters. 2020 World Junior Figure Skating Championships
The 2020 World Junior Figure Skating Championships were held in Tallinn, Estonia on March 2–8, 2020. Figure skaters competed for the title of junior world champion in men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs, and ice dance. The competition determined the entry quotas for each federation during the 2020–21 ISU Junior Grand Prix series and at the 2021 World Junior Championships. Dmitry Vadimovich Rylov (russian: Дмитрий Вадимович Рылов, born 7 September 2001) is a retired Russian pair skater. With partner Apollinariia Panfilova, he is the 2020 World Junior champion, the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics champion, 2019–2020 Junior Grand Prix Final champion, 2019 World Junior silver medalist, the 2017–18 Junior Grand Prix Final silver medalist, and the 2018–19 Junior Grand Prix Final bronze medalist.
