John Isaac Moore
John Isaac "Ike" Moore (February 7, 1856 – March 18, 1937) was a member of the Arkansas Senate and acting governor of the U.S. state of Arkansas. Biography Moore was born in Lafayette County, Mississippi, and graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1881. He studied law and was admitted to the Arkansas bar in 1882. He died on March 18, 1937. Career From 1894 to 1900, Moore served as probate judge in Phillips County, Arkansas. He was elected to the Arkansas House of Representatives in 1882, 1901, and 1903. Ivan Martin Delock (November 11, 1929 – February 28, 2022) was an American Major League Baseball right-handed pitcher who played 11 seasons for the Boston Red Sox and Baltimore Orioles. He was born in Highland Park, Michigan. In ten-plus seasons with the Red Sox, Delock had a record of 83–72. He pitched in at least 20 games for the Red Sox every year from 1952 to 1961 (1954 excepted), and had an Adjusted ERA+ of 110 or better in 1955 (114), 1956 (110), 1958 (118), 1959 (138), and 1961 (110). Isaac Benjamin Davis (born March 22, 1987) is an American former professional baseball first baseman. From 2010 through 2016, he played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Mets, Pittsburgh Pirates, Oakland Athletics, and New York Yankees. Davis led his high school team to three straight Arizona State championships as a pitcher and first baseman. Isaac Clarke (9 January 1915 – 2 April 2002) was an English footballer and football manager. He is most notable for scoring the goal which won Portsmouth their first League title. Career Clarke, called Ike everywhere he went, was born at Tipton during the First World War on 9 January 1915. He began playing in an amateur Wolverhampton league for Toll End Westley, and then signed as a professional for West Bromwich Albion, then a First Division club, in 1937. Clarke was officially on their books for ten years, but most of that career was lost through the Second World War. By the end of his time there he had played 108 games and scored 39 goals. As football began again in fits and starts after the War had ended Clarke moved to Portsmouth in November 1947. Isaac Edward "Ike" Austin (born August 18, 1969) is an American former professional basketball player who played for several different teams in the National Basketball Association between 1991 and 2002. He is the uncle of former Baylor University basketball player Isaiah Austin. Austin was born in Gridley, California. He served as the head football coach at the University of Utah from 1925 to 1949, compiling a record of 141–55–15. Ike Armstrong was the son of George Henry and Margaret Prudence (Gump) Armstrong.
