Igor Sphilband
Igor Yuryevich Shpilband (russian: Игорь Юрьевич Шпильбанд, born July 14, 1964) is an American ice dancing coach and former competitor for the Soviet Union. He is the 1983 World Junior champion with former partner Tatiana Gladkova. Personal life Shpilband was born in Moscow on July 14, 1964, to a Jewish family. In 1990, he and several other Soviet skaters were part of a U.S. tour headlined by Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean when one of them, Gorsha Sur, decided to defect; Shpilband, Veronica Pershina and Elena Krykanova decided to join him. Shpilband got a coaching position in Detroit not long after. He became a naturalized United States citizen in 2000. With his former wife Veronica Pershina, he has a daughter, Ekaterina, a competitive figure skater for the United States. In 2006, he became engaged to skating coach Adrienne Lenda. Elizabeth Coates
Elizabeth Coates, sometimes known as Liz Coates, is a British ice dancing coach and former competitor. With Alan Abretti, she is the 1986 Fujifilm Trophy silver medalist and a two-time British national silver medalist. Life and career Coates grew up in south London, with her brother Gary, and trained at the ice rink in Streatham. Competing with Alan Abretti, she won silver medals at the 1985 and 1986 British Championships and at the 1986 Fujifilm Trophy. Alisa Agafonova
Alisa Alexandrovna Agafonova (married name: Besseghier, uk, Аліса Олександрівна Агафо́нова, born 15 January 1991) is a former competitive ice dancer. She is best known for her partnership with Alper Uçar. Representing Turkey, they competed at two Winter Olympics (2014 and 2018) and won eight international medals, including silver at the 2011 Winter Universiade and three medals on the ISU Challenger Series. Joseph Buckland
Joseph Buckland (born 27 October 1992) is an English ice dancer. With former partner Olivia Smart, he is a three-time British national junior champion (2012–14) and competed at three World Junior Championships, reaching the top ten in 2014. Logan Bye (born March 2, 1998) is an American ice dancer. With his skating partner and fiancée, Eva Pate, he is a two-time ISU Challenger Series silver medalist. With former partner Chloe Lewis, he is the 2016 Youth Olympic silver medalist, 2016 JGP Estonia bronze medalist, and 2018 U.S. junior national bronze medalist. Eva Pate (born May 11, 2000) is an American ice dancer. With her skating partner and fiancé, Logan Bye, she is a two-time ISU Challenger Series silver medalist. Daniel Eaton (born March 26, 1992) is an American ice dancer who now represents the Republic of Korea with his partner Yura Min, with whom he is the 2020 Korean National Champion. Deividas Stagniūnas (born 28 April 1985) is a Lithuanian former ice dancer. With Isabella Tobias, he is the 2011 Skate America bronze medalist and placed in the top ten at two European Championships. They represented Lithuania at the 2014 Winter Olympics, where Stagniūnas was the flagbearer. Career Early years Stagniūnas began skating at age five.
