''Idol Philippines'' (known as ''Search for the Idol Philippines'' in the first season or better known as ''Philippine Ido''l) is a Philippine reality singing television competition broadcast by Kapamilya Channel, A2Z (Philippine TV channel), A2Z, and TV5 (Philippine TV network), TV5. As part of the Idol (franchise), ''Idol'' franchise created by British entertainment executive Simon Fuller, the show aims to discover new solo singing talents, with the winner determined by weekly singing challenges and the viewing public.
