Ictus Theatre
Teatro Ictus or ICTUS (Ictus Theatre) is the longest-running independent theatre company in Chile. A not-for-profit private company, Ictus was founded in 1955 and is known for its creative works with strong political-social commentary. Theatre
Theatre or theater is a collaborative form of performing art that uses live performers, usually actors or actresses, to present the experience of a real or imagined event before a live audience in a specific place, often a stage. The performers may communicate this experience to the audience through combinations of gesture, speech, song, music, and dance. Chile, officially the Republic of Chile, is a country in the western part of South America.
