Ich Und Meine Maske
''Ich und meine Maske'' ("Me and my mask") is the third solo album by German rapper Sido. It was released on 30 May 2008 on his label Aggro Berlin. The style is, according to Sido, a mix between his two last albums, ''Maske'' and '' Ich''. The album climbed to first place in the German chart and to second place in the Swiss and Austrian Charts. It reached platinum status in Switzerland and gold status in Austria. Guest appearances The album had many guest appearance of Sido's label mates Fler, Kitty Kat, Tony D and B-Tight. Sektenmuzik members Alpa Gun and Greckoe had there guest parts on "Schule", as well as Die Sekte on the track "Meine Gang". Rapper Harris, and one half of German hip hop duo Deine Lieblings Rapper, is featured on ''Tage'', along with Pillath, one half of duo Snaga & Pillath. Sido (rapper)
Paul Hartmut Würdig (born 30 November 1980), better known as Sido, is a German rapper. He interprets his artist name as "super-intelligentes Drogenopfer" (super-intelligent drug victim). It used to stand for "Scheiße in dein Ohr" (shit into your ear), a line from his track "Terroarr". Sido distinguishes himself by using provocative and aggressive lyrics. After his breakthrough with his debut album '' Maske'' in 2004, he was always seen wearing a silver skull mask. However, since 2005, he no longer wears the mask. Würdig's career began in 1997, as one half of duo Royal TS (now A.i.d.S) with B-Tight, both of whom were later signed to the label Berlin hip hop Royal Bunker and then to Aggro Berlin in 2001. Sektenmuzik was a Berlin-based independent record label until mid-2012, formed by German rappers Sido and B-Tight. Sektenmuzik was founded at the end of 2006 and beginning of 2007 by Sido and B-Tight, also known as the duo A.i.d.S. The duo was formed from the rap crew Die Sekte, which has been active since 1998. The GfK Entertainment charts are the official music charts in Germany and are gathered and published by GfK Entertainment (formerly Media Control and Media Control GfK International), a subsidiary of GfK, on behalf of Bundesverband Musikindustrie. GfK Entertainment is the provider of weekly Top 100 single and album charts, as well as various other chart formats for genres like compilations, jazz, classical music, schlager, hip hop, dance, comedy, and music videos. Anthony Depula (June 28, 1966 – April 4, 2009), known professionally as Tony D, was an American hip hop artist from Trenton, New Jersey. Career Although he was an MC and a DJ, he was most famous for being an influential producer in hip hop music. Nu Pagadi was a German pop band, formed in December 2004 on the fourth season of international reality television program ''Popstars''. Originally a quartet, from May 2005 a trio, the group described their own musical style as "glam rock". In September 2005, only ten months after the band's formation, the members announced their official split due to musical differences. "Move Your Ass!" is a song by German band Scooter, released in January 1995 as the second single from their first studio album, '' ...and the Beat Goes On!'' (1995). In October of the same year, a ''Move Your Ass'' EP was marketed in the United Kingdom and Ireland. This rave song was a hit in countries such as Austria, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland where it reached the top ten. In France, the song reached number 11. Azad Azadpour (born 24 November 1973), known professionally as Azad, is a German rapper of Kurdish descent based in Frankfurt. As one of the first German street rappers who become successful, he strongly influenced the German rap scene. Die Sekte is a German rap group from Berlin, formed in 1998 by Sido, B-Tight, Rhymin Simon and Vokalmatador. Originally it consisted of only Sido and B-Tight, also known as duo A.i.d.S.
