Ian L. Gray AM (born 1950) is a retired Victorian lawyer, and former judge, chief magistrate and State Coroner at the Coroners Court of Victoria. Education Gray completed a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws at Monash University, graduating in 1973. Career He initially practised as a private solicitor, before beginning work as a community lawyer in a Community Legal Service and at the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service. In 1982, he was admitted to the Victorian Bar and practiced as a barrister, specialising in criminal law. In 1987, Gray was appointed as the Principal Legal Advisor for the Northern Land Council in Darwin, Northern Territory, Darwin. In 1990, Gray was appointed a magistrate in the Northern Territory. ''Pickwick'' is a British television musical made by the BBC in 1969 and based on the 1963 stage musical '' Pickwick'', which in turn was based on the 1837 novel '' The Pickwick Papers'' written by Charles Dickens. Ian Grey (5 May 1918 – 5 June 1996) was a New Zealand-born historian of Russian history. Biography He began his career as a lawyer, a member of the New South Wales Bar (law), Bar. In 1941 he joined the Royal Australian Navy, Australian navy and was posted at Naval Intelligence of the British Admiralty, Admiralty in London, then serving in the Soviet Union as an officer. He served for two and a half years in the Extreme North (Russia), Russian north, acting as a liaison for British Destroyers of the Soviet Navy in the Arctic. He also served as Deputy Secretary-General and the editor of publications of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Headquarters Secretariat from 1966 until his retirement. Iain Cumming Gray (born 7 June 1957) is a Scottish politician who served as Leader of the Scottish Labour Party from 2008 to 2011. He was the Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for the East Lothian constituency from 2007 to 2021, having previously represented Edinburgh Pentlands from 1999 to 2003.
