Nico Vega
Nico Vega was an American indie rock band formed in 2005 in Los Angeles, California, United States. They consist of lead vocalist Aja Volkman, lead guitarist Rich Koehler, and drummer Dan Epand. The group has released two albums ''Nico Vega'' (2009) and ''Lead to Light'' (2014). ''Billboard'' described ''Lead to Light'' as possessing "some of the most unstoppable pop-rock hooks heard all year." After a hiatus announced on June 6, 2016, the band returned nearly two years later on April 6, 2018, when Volkman announced a new single and a return on her Instagram. Daniel Coulter Reynolds (born July 14, 1987) is an American singer and songwriter. He is the lead vocalist of the pop rock band Imagine Dragons. Reynolds also released an EP in 2011, titled ''Egyptian – EP,'' as a duo with his former wife Aja Volkman under the moniker Egyptian (band), Egyptian. He is a recipient of the Songwriters Hall of Fame#Hal David Starlight Award recipients, Songwriters Hall of Fame Hal David Starlight Award. Early life Reynolds was born in Las Vegas, the seventh of nine children (eight boys and one girl) of Christene M. (née Callister) and Ronald Reynolds, a lawyer and author. Both are natives of Nevada, and Reynolds is a 4th generation Nevadan. As a Boy Scouts of America, Boy Scout he earned the rank of Eagle Scout (Boy Scouts of America), Eagle Scout in 2005. Reynolds was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS). When he was 19 years old he volunteered full-time as a missionary in Nebraska for two years.

"Beast" is a song written by the American alternative rock band Nico Vega. The song was originally recorded for the EP ''chooseyourwordspoorly'' (2006) but a later version was released as a single in 2013. It reached No. 26 on the Billboard Hot Rock Songs chart. Versions "Beast" was first recorded for the 2006 EP ''chooseyourwordspoorly''. This is the shortest version of the song at just 2:36. A reworked version of the song was recorded for eponymous debut album ''Nico Vega'' in 2009. The track runs for 4:01, but owing to non-song content afterwards the track time is 5:40. This version, minus the extra content, was rereleased on the ''Fury Oh Fury'' EP in 2013.
