I Am, I Feel
"I Am, I Feel" is a song by British duo and sisters Alisha's Attic, released as their debut single from the album, '' Alisha Rules the World'' (1996). It is written by sisters Karen and Shelly Poole, and produced by Dave Stewart. The single quickly became a radio and chart hit in the UK, peaking at number 14 on the UK Singles Chart. A music video was also produced to promote the single. Lyrically, the duo has stated that it is about "a woman rebelling against a man" in a relationship gone bad. It was nominated in the category Best Song Musically & Lyrically at the 1997 Ivor Novello Awards. Chart performance In the duo's native UK, "I Am, I Feel" debuted at number 15 on the UK Singles Chart on July 28, 1996. The song peaked the following week at number 14. Alisha's Attic were an English pop duo of the 1990s and early 2000s. The two members were sisters Shelly McErlaine (born Poole) and Karen Poole, born in Barking and Chadwell Heath respectively. Their father is Brian Poole of 1960s group Brian Poole and the Tremeloes. History Karen and Shelly released their first single, "Sugar Daddy", as Keren & Chelle icin 1988, but it failed to chart. Their chart career began with the release of their debut single " I Am, I Feel", which quickly became a radio and chart hit in the UK. The ''Gavin Report'' was a San Francisco-based radio industry trade publication. The publication was founded by radio performer Bill Gavin in 1958. Its Top 40 listings were used for many years by programmers to decide content of programs. The publication was also responsible for running the Gavin Seminar, a convention for radio industry members. In February 2002, United Business Media, who had owned the Gavin Report since 1992, decided to close the publication. ''DV'' (''Dagblaðið Vísir'') is an online newspaper in Iceland published by Torg ehf. It came into existence as a daily newspaper in 1981 when two formerly independent newspapers, Vísir and Dagblaðið, merged. Early on it was one of the largest newspapers in Iceland and at one point had a 64% readership in Iceland. In the 1990s its readership started to dwindle and in 2003 its publisher was declared bankrupt. It was resurrected a week later by the publisher of Fréttablaðið. Junior Vasquez (born Donald Gregory Mattern, August 24, 1949) is an American DJ, record producer and remixer. He has been referred to as one of the only DJs of his time to gain international attention. Career Mattern moved to New York City as a young man of 25 in 1971 with ambitions of becoming a fashion designer, briefly attending Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and working for a while as a hairdresser.
