IRB Tbilisi Cup
The World Rugby Tbilisi Cup is a rugby union competition that was first held in 2013 at Avchala Stadium in Tbilisi with the hosts Georgia joined by Uruguay, who regularly take part in the Nations Cup, and two newly founded teams: Emerging Ireland, who were made up of young Irish players that didn't get selected for the Lions tour to Australia or the national side's tour to North America, and a South Africa President's XV, composed of Currie Cup players. Georgia was the only team to return for the second edition in 2014. They were joined by Spain and two teams that regularly take part in the IRB Nations Cup, Argentina Jaguars and Emerging Italy. In 2015, Emerging Ireland, Emerging Italy and Uruguay returned to the tournament, with Emerging Ireland claiming the title for the first ever time. Emerging Ireland
Emerging Ireland is an Irish rugby union team that represents Ireland in the World Rugby Nations Cup. History 2013 Tbilisi Cup The team was created to offer Tier 1 level opposition for Tier 2 sides in the IRB Tbilisi Cup, held in Tbilisi, Georgia. Allen Clarke, Ian Costello and Joey Miles managed the team, with Rhys Ruddock as captain. In Emerging Ireland's opening match, they faced hosts Georgia. This match was won by the Emerging side 20–15 in their first ever game. In their second match, South Africa President's XV beat Emerging Ireland 19–8, before Emerging Ireland beat Uruguay 42–33 on 16 June 2013 to secure a second-place finish in the tournament. Ian Keatley
Ian James T. Keatley (born 1 April 1987) is an Irish rugby union player. He plays primarily as a fly-half, but can also play as a centre or fullback. Early life Keatley was born in Dublin, where he was educated at Belvedere College and University College Dublin. He was a member of the Belvedere College team which won the Leinster Senior Schools Cup in 2005, the first time the school had achieved this in 33 years. He also represented Suttonians whilst in Dublin. Ramiro Moyano (born 28 May 1990, in Tucumán, Argentina) is an Argentine rugby union player who plays for the national Argentina team ''The Pumas'' and most recently at club level for Edinburgh Rugby in the United Rugby Championship. Moyano mostly plays as a full-back but has on occasions played wing. Having played for his local club Lince RC from a young age, he was selected for the Argentina U-19's team in 2009 before going on to represent Argentina U-20's in competitive tournaments in 2010. Matthew Healy (born 14 March 1989) is an Irish former professional rugby union player. His primary position was on the wing and he was also used as injury cover at fullback, while earlier in his career he played at scrum-half. Healy played his entire career for Irish provincial team Connacht Rugby in the Pro14 and represented Ireland at test level once. He is Connacht's all-time leading try scorer. Uzair Cassiem (born 17 March 1990) is a South African rugby union player for French side Bayonne in the Prod2 competition. Cassiem, who usually plays as a loose forward, previously represented the Golden Lions and Falcons. In 2013, he was included in a South Africa President's XV team that played in the 2013 IRB Tbilisi Cup and won the tournament after winning all three matches.
