Carl Bezuidenhout
Carl Bezuidenhout (born 10 February 1986 in Grahamstown) is a former South African rugby union footballer. He played either as a fly-half or full-back and played professional rugby between 2006 and 2015. He retired in 2015 to take up a teaching post at Union Schools in Graaff-Reinet. Career Bezuidenhout started his career in Durban, where he represented the between 2006 and 2009. After a short spell with the in 2009, he joined the , where he played the majority of the rugby during his career. During the 2013 Currie Cup First Division, he broke the all-time points scoring record of that competition, ending the season with 217 points to help the to the title. He also scored eight points in the first leg of their promotion play-off match to help the Pumas to win promotion to the 2014 Currie Cup Premier Division. Grahamstown, Eastern Cape
Makhanda, also known as Grahamstown, is a town of about 140,000 people in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. It is situated about northeast of Port Elizabeth and southwest of East London. 2013 IRB Tbilisi Cup
The 2013 IRB Tbilisi Cup was the inaugural edition of this international rugby union tournament, created by the International Rugby Board and was played from 7 to 16 June 2013 at the Avchala Stadium in Tbilisi. The hosts Georgia were joined by Uruguay, who regularly take part in the IRB Nations Cup, and two newly founded teams: Emerging Ireland, who were made up of young Irish players that didn't get selected for the Lions tour to Australia or the national side's tour to North America, and a South Africa President's XV, composed of Currie Cup players. South Africa President's XV won the inaugural tournament after winning all three of their games. 2006–07 IRB Sevens World Series
2006–07 IRB Sevens World Series was the eighth of an annual series of rugby sevens tournaments for full national sides run by the International Rugby Board since 1999–2000. New Zealand were the series champions, winning the final tournament in Edinburgh to take the lead on the standings. In that event, the then-defending series champions Fiji would have clinched the season crown by defeating Wales in the Cup quarterfinals. However, a Wales upset win opened the door for New Zealand to take the season crown by winning the Cup in Edinburgh, which they did. Sevens is traditionally played in a two-day tournament format; however, the most famous event, the Hong Kong Sevens, is played over three days.
