IPL 2015 Auction
This is a list of all the personnel changes for the 2015 Indian Premier League. Apart from the players retained by their franchises, the rest entered the pool of players put up for auction. Notable names among these were Yuvraj Singh (released by Royal Challengers Bangalore), Pragyan Ojha & Zaheer Khan (released by Mumbai Indians), Kevin Pietersen (released by Delhi Daredevils) among others. Trading window There were 2 trading windows prior to the auction which was held on 16 February 2015. A third trading window opened after the auction. During these trading windows, franchises could trade players with other franchises. Retained players Prior to the auction, teams could release players and retain those that they wanted for the next season. The salaries of the released players would be added to the salary purse of the teams which was increased to Rs. 63 crores for the 2015 edition. 2015 Indian Premier League
The 2015 season of the Indian Premier League, also known as IPL 8 or, for sponsorship reasons, Pepsi IPL 2015, was the eighth season of the IPL, a Twenty20 cricket league established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2007. The tournament featured eight teams and was held from 8 April 2015 to 24 May 2015. The tournament's opening ceremony was held at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata on 7 April 2015. Kolkata Knight Riders were the defending champions having won the title in the 2014 season. The tagline was ''India ka tyohar (the festival of India.) '' On 24 May 2015, Mumbai Indians defeated Chennai Super Kings by 41 runs in the final at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, to win the IPL title for the second time. Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma was awarded player of the match in the final for his knock of 50 from 26 balls. Ravindrasinh Anirudhsinh Jadeja (born 6 December 1988), commonly known as Ravindra Jadeja, is an Indian international cricketer. He is an all-rounder, who bats left-handed and bowls left-arm orthodox spin. He was the captain of the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. Pawan Negi
Pawan Negi (born 6 January 1993) is an Indian cricketer. He is a slow left-arm orthodox bowler. He was born in Uttarakhand. Career Negi plays for Delhi in domestic cricket. He played for Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League in 2012 and 2013 and for Chennai Super Kings in 2014 and 2015 before rejoining Delhi for the 2016 season. Mohit Mahipal Sharma (born 18 September 1988) is an Indian international cricketer. He also plays for Haryana. He is a right-arm fast-medium bowler. Domestic and IPL career Following his work with pace bowling coach Ian Pont, Sharma picked up 37 wickets from 7 games at an average of 23 in the 2012–13 Ranji Trophy. Mithun Manhas (born 12 October 1979) is an Indian first-class cricketer. A right-handed batsman, he also bowls right-arm offbreak and can keep wicket.
