Ishwar Pandey
Ishwar Chand Pandey (born 15 August 1989) is an Indian cricketer who played for Madhya Pradesh. He was a right-arm medium-fast bowler who was the leading wicket-taker of the 2012–13 Ranji Trophy. He played for India A and was selected in the Indian Test and ODI squads for the New Zealand tour of 2014. He was bought by the Chennai Super Kings in 2014 IPL auction for Rs 1.5 crores.Then he was bought by Rising Pune Supergiants in 2016 and 2017 edition of IPL. On 12 September 2022, he announced his retirement from international and first class cricket . Early life Pandey was born in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. His father is retired Junior officer of the Indian Army. He has received training from MRF Pace Academy in Chennai. Career Pandey made his first-class debut for Madhya Pradesh against Goa in November 2010. He played three matches in that season's Ranji Trophy, taking 9 wickets at an average of 27. Rewa, Madhya Pradesh
Rewa is a city in north-eastern part of Madhya Pradesh state in India. It is the administrative center of Rewa District and Rewa Division. The city lies about northeast of the state capital Bhopal and north of the city of Jabalpur. 2013 Irani Cup
The 2013 Irani Cup, also called 2013 Irani Trophy, was the 51st season of the Irani Cup, a first-class cricket competition in India. It was a one-off match which was played from 6 February 2013 to 10 February 2013 between the 2012–13 Ranji champions Mumbai and the Rest of India team. Wankhede Stadium, the home ground of Mumbai, hosted the match. The match was drawn and Rest of India retained the Irani Cup by virtue of their first innings lead. Andhra Cricket Team
The Andhra cricket team is an Indian domestic cricket team representing the South India state of Andhra Pradesh. The team's main home ground is Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy International Cricket Stadium at Visakhapatnam, while some home matches are also played at Anantapur and Kadapa. Overview The Andhra Cricket Association was formed in 1951. Andhra competed in the Ranji Trophy for the first time in the 1953–54 season, captained by C. K. Nayudu, who scored the team's first fifty in that match. Andhra has competed in every Ranji Trophy season since, with the exception of 1961–62, when it was absent. It falls under the South Zone of Indian cricket. Twenty20
Twenty20 (T20) is a shortened game format of cricket. At the professional level, it was introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003 for the inter-county competition. In a Twenty20 game, the two teams have a single innings each, which is restricted to a maximum of 20 overs. Together with first-class and List A cricket, Twenty20 is one of the three current forms of cricket recognised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as being at the highest international or domestic level. A typical Twenty20 game is completed in about two and a half hours, with each innings lasting around 70 minutes and an official 10-minute break between the innings. Hat-trick (cricket)
In cricket, a hat-trick occurs when a bowler takes three wickets with consecutive deliveries. The deliveries may be interrupted by an over bowled by another bowler from the other end of the pitch or the other team's innings, but must be three consecutive deliveries by the individual bowler in the same match. Only wickets attributed to the bowler count towards a hat-trick; run outs do not count, although they can contribute towards a so-called team hat-trick, which is ostensibly a normal hat-trick except that the three successive deliveries can be wickets from any bowler in the team and with any mode of dismissal. Hat-tricks are rare, and as such are treasured by bowlers. The term is also sometimes used to mean winning the same competition three times in a row. For example, Australia winning the Cricket World Cup in 1999, 2003 and 2007, and Lancashire winning the County Championship in 1926, 1927 and 1928.
