IMx
Immature (later known as IMx) is an American R&B boy band, managed by record producer Chris Stokes. Its members include Marques "Batman" Houston (born August 4, 1981), Jerome "Romeo" Jones (born October 25, 1981), and Kelton "LDB" Kessee (born January 2, 1981), all natives of Los Angeles, California, where the group was formed. The group released four albums under the Immature moniker: ''On Our Worst Behavior'' (1992; the only album to include original member Don "Half Pint" Santos, later replaced by Kessee), ''Playtyme Is Over'' (1994), '' We Got It'' (1995) and ''The Journey'' (1997). In 1999, the group changed its name to IMx, marking ten years of being a group and released two studio albums ''Introducing IMx'' and ''IMx'', as well as a ''Greatest Hits'' album in 2001. Marques Barrett Houston (born August 4, 1981) is an American Contemporary R&B, R&B singer, songwriter, and actor. A member of the R&B group IMx, Immature/IMx from 1990 until 2002, Houston went solo in 2003. As an actor, he is best known for his role as Roger Evans in the television comedy ''Sister, Sister (TV series), Sister, Sister''. As a solo artist, Houston has released a number of successful studio albums that went platinum in the United States. Early life Houston was born on August 4, 1981, in Los Angeles, California, to Michael and Carolyn Houston. He is the older cousin of B2K's J-Boog. Houston began acting at an early age. He is perhaps best known for being the founder of The Ultimate Group record label in 2000, whose roster included B2K, Omarion, Jhené Aiko, Marques Houston, IMx and NLT, among others. Transition to film and television Stokes first became connected with film and television through the talent he managed. Jamila Akiko Aba Chilombo (born November 18, 1982), known as Mila J, is an American singer, rapper and songwriter. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she is the older sister of R&B singer Jhéne Aiko and is known for being in Prince's video for "Diamonds and Pearls" and appearing on tracks by RaRa, IMx, Trey Songz and Omarion.
