IMANI Centre For Policy And Education
The IMANI Center for Policy and Education is a think tank based in Accra, Ghana. As a member of the Atlas Economic Research Foundation, the think tank applies free market solutions to intricate domestic social problems. History It was founded in 2004 by Franklin Cudjoe, who currently serves as the president and chief executive officer. Operations The think tank's operations center on these four thematic areas: rule of law, market growth and development, individual rights, and human security and institutional development. IMANI uses the Africanliberty.org platform as a springboard to reach out to the larger African audience in five international languages, including Swahili. Franklin Cudjoe
Franklin Cudjoe (16 February 1976) is a Ghanaian author and social political commentator. He is the Founding President and chief executive officer (CEO) of IMANI Centre for Policy and Education. Education He attended St. Mary's Seminary/Senior High School in Lolobi Kumasi in the Volta Region for Form 1–5 before moving to Pope John Senior High School and Minor Seminary in Koforidua for his sixth form. Cudjoe holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Land Economy from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Bright Simons is a Ghanaian social innovator, entrepreneur, writer, social and political commentator. He is the vice-president, in charge of research at IMANI Centre for Policy and Education. He is also the founder and president of mPedigree. Education He is a former student of the Presbyterian Boys' Senior High School (PRESEC) Legon, Greater Accra Region, where he became the President of the Student Representative Council in his final year. He later won a scholarship to study Astrophysics at Durham University in UK. Atlas Network, formerly known as the Atlas Economic Research Foundation, is a non-governmental 501(c)(3) organization based in the United States that provides training, networking and grants for libertarian, free-market, and conservative groups around the world. Swahili Language
Swahili, also known by its local name , is the native language of the Swahili people, who are found primarily in Tanzania, Kenya and Mozambique (along the East African coast and adjacent litoral islands).
