Idrettslaget Fram is a Norwegian sports club from Skatval, Nord-Trøndelag. It has sections for association football, team handball, track and field and volleyball. It was founded in 1892. It is currently chaired by Eli Arnstad. The men's football team plays in the Fourth Division, the fifth tier of football in Norway. It last played in the Second Division in 1995, and in the Third Division in 2006. The club has had some success in athletics, with Oskar Midtlyng representing the club. 2006 Norwegian Third Division
The 2006 season of the ''3. divisjon'', the fourth-highest association football league for men in Norway. Between 20 and 22 games (depending on group size) were played in 24 groups, with 3 points given for wins and 1 for draws. Twelve teams were promoted to the 2. divisjon through playoff. Stjørdal
Stjørdal () or is a municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is part of the Stjørdalen region. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Stjørdal, also called Stjørdalshalsen. Some of the villages in the municipality include Elvran, Flornes, Hegra, Hell, Kvithammer, Prestmoen, Skatval, Skjelstadmarka, Sona, and Værnes. The municipality is known for the village of Hell which is located in the Lånke area of Stjørdal. Brit Sandaune
Brit Sandaune (born 5 June 1972) is a Norwegian footballer and pre-school teacher. She is originally from the rural area of Skatval in the municipality of Stjørdal, Nord-Trøndelag, and is educated in economy and administration. Brit is today settled in Trondheim with her cohabitant Roy Nilsen. Football Brit Sandaune has (per 2001) won six league championships and seven Norwegian national championship (with Trondheims-Ørn SK) in women's soccer. She is an Olympic Gold and Bronze medallist. Sandaune played 120 international matches for Norway, scoring nine goals. With the Norway team she went to the Olympic Games in 1996 in Atlanta, winning Bronze. Skatval is a village in the municipality of Stjørdal in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located on the Skatval peninsula about northwest of the town of Stjørdalshalsen. Eli Arnstad (born 4 May 1962) is a Norwegian civil servant, sports official and politician for the Centre Party. Early life and career She was born in Stjørdal as a daughter of accountant and farmer Arne Arnstad (1932–1980) and nurse Aasta Arnstad, née Auran (1938–). She is a twin sister of the prominent politician Marit Arnstad and mother of Ada Arnstad. Having graduated from high school in 1981, she first studied at Mære Agricultural School until 1983. She is educated business administrator from the Nord-Trøndelag University College, having graduated as cand.mag. in 1999. She also minored in public law in 1986 and political science in 1989. She became involved in politics in the early 1980s. She chaired the regional party chapter of the Centre Youth from 1982 to 1985. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996.
