IK Våg
Idrettsklubben Våg is a Norwegian sports club from Vågsbygd in Kristiansand. It has sections for association football, team handball, badminton and athletics. The club was founded on 12 January 1938, and the club colors are green and white. The women's handball team plays in the highest Norwegian league. The twin sisters and international handballstars Kristine Lunde-Borgersen and Katrine Lunde originally played for "Våg Vipers". The club later changed its name to "Vipers Kristiansand", and is what the club is currently called. The Norwegian heptathlete Ida Marcussen represents IK Våg, after changing in 2005 after a disagreement with her club Kristiansands IF. Vågsbygd
Vågsbygd is a borough and disrict in the city of Kristiansand which lies in the municipality of Kristiansand in Agder county, Norway. It is the largest borough and district in Kristiansand. Until 1965, Vågsbygd was a part of Oddernes municipality. The borough includes the districts of Flekkerøy, Voiebyen, Vågsbygd/ Augland, and Slettheia. Kristiansand is a seaside resort city and municipality in Agder county, Norway. Kristine Lunde-Borgersen
Kristine Lunde-Borgersen (born 30 March 1980) is a retired Norwegian handballer who played for the Norwegian national team. She is Olympic champion, World Champion and three times European champion. She is the twin sister of fellow handball player Katrine Lunde. On 13 June 2017, she announced her return to playing handball for the 2017–2018 season, to replace Marta Tomac, who is out of play following a severe injury. Club career Lunde Borgersen started her handball career in Norwegian clubs Hånes, Kristiansand and Våg Vipers. In 2004, she moved to Denmark and played for Aalborg DH for 3 seasons. In 2007, she signed a 3-year contract with Viborg where she played together with her twin sister, Katrine Lunde Haraldsen. Katrine Lunde Haraldsen
Katrine Lunde (former Haraldsen; born 30 March 1980) is a Norwegian handball goalkeeper for Vipers Kristiansand and the Norwegian national team. She is the twin sister of fellow handball player Kristine Lunde-Borgersen. Her sporting achievements include gold medals with the Norwegian national team at the Olympic Games, World Championships and European Championships, as well as club victories in the EHF Champions League, and national championships in Denmark, Hungary, Russia and Norway. Career Club She started her club career in Hånes, and later played for Kristiansand, Våg and Aalborg DH. She won the Champions League with Viborg in 2009 and 2010. Vipers Kristiansand is a handball club from Kristiansand, Norway. They currently compete in REMA 1000-ligaen, the top division in the country, since its promotion in 2001. They claimed there first Norwegian Championship in 2018, defeating 18 times-in-a-row champions from Larvik HK. For the first time in the club's history, they qualified for the 2018–19 Women's EHF Final 4 in Budapest, where they took the 3rd place and a historic bronze medal. Ida Marcussen
Ida Marcussen (born 1 November 1987 in Kristiansand) is a Norwegian heptathlete. She represents IK Våg, having changed clubs from Kristiansands IF in 2006. As a junior athlete she finished sixth at the 2005 European Junior Championships and won a silver medal at the 2006 World Junior Championships in Beijing. Her score of 6020 points from Beijing was only 65 points away from being a new Norwegian record. In 2007 she entered her first senior championships at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka. After day one she was situated near the bottom of the results list; however, a strong performance during the second day saw her climb to eleventh place. She scored 6226 points, demolishing the Norwegian record in the event. In 2008 she opened the season by setting a Norwegian indoor record in the pentathlon, with 4214 points. Norwegian Third Division
The Norwegian Third Division, also called 3. divisjon, is the fourth highest division of the men's football league in Norway. Like the rest of the Norwegian football league system, the season runs from spring to autumn, running approximately from April to October. After the 2010 season, the league was reorganised, reducing the number of teams to 164 and halving the number of parallel sections from 24 to 12. After the 2016 season, the league was again reorganised, reducing the number of teams from 164 to 84, and halved the number of groups from twelve to six.
