Ikatan Kampong Lurong Sekuna — Mulaut Ban 5 Football Club or simply IKLS-MB5 FC is a football club in Brunei, playing in the Brunei Super League. It takes its name from Kampong Lorong Sikuna in Peramu, Kampong Ayer, coupled with the Ban 5 section of Kampong Mulaut. History Ikatan Kampong Lurong Sekuna or Lurong Sekuna Village Union is an association that has existed since the early 1970s. The football club of its members registered officially as a society in 1988 to take part in district-level competitions. They reached the quarterfinals of the Pepsi Cup in 2001 and played in the Bruneian lower levels of the football pyramid in the early 00s. In 2012, IKLS reached the semifinals of the Brunei FA Cup all the way from the first round despite playing in the district league. 2015 Brunei Super League
The 2015 Brunei Super League is the third season of the Brunei Super League. It is organized by the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam and sponsored by DST Group. On 23 October 2015, MS ABDB clinched the title with two games left to play. A 6–1 victory over Kilanas FC had put them 13 points ahead of second-placed Indera SC, guaranteeing the Armymen's first league title since 1985. On 25 October 2015, the match between Tabuan Muda and Indera SC was initially ruled as a 3-0 walkover to Tabuan Muda after a third sending-off of an Indera player. However, this was against tournament rules (based on the Laws of the Game) which ruled that a match cannot continue with seven players in a team, and the referee of that match was deemed to have made an error of judgment. The Brunei FA Cup is Brunei's premier knockout tournament in men's football. The current format is administered by the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD) since 2012. The championship winner will receive B$10,000 and first runner up will get B$7,000 ($5,000 USD) as prize money. Kampong Mulaut
Kampong Mulaut is a village in Brunei-Muara District, Brunei, about from the capital Bandar Seri Begawan. The population was 5,846 in 2016. It is one of the villages within Mukim Sengkurong. Name According to one of the residents of Kampong Mulaut, the earliest school built there was Sekolah Rendah Orang Kaya Setia Bakti. When the Kampong Mulaut area was newly developed with the construction of roads and schools, when a person stood on the hill there and looked towards the flat area below, the person looked as if the flat area under the hill was covered by the sea.
