Galiya Izmaylova
Galiya Bayazit gizi Izmaylova (12 February 1923, Tomsk – 2 October 2010, Tashkent) was an Uzbek and Soviet ballerina of Tatar origin, ballet master, choreographer, teacher, People's Artist of the USSR (1962), laureate of the Stalin Prize II degree (1950). Early life and education Galiya Izmaylova was born on 12 February 1923 in Tomsk in a Tatar family. Izmaylova's father was repressed when she was nine years old. She left Tomsk with her mother after her father's death and from 1931 lived in Tashkent. Izmaylova began her dance career at the age of 11, and soon she was invited to the newly opened ballet school. In 1935, Izmaylova entered the Uzbek Republican Ballet School. In 1941, she was in the first graduation of the students of the ballet school. After graduation she entered the troupe of the Uzbek Opera and Ballet Theater in Tashkent. Izmaylova was the leading prima ballerina, performing leading roles in the theater troupe. She is the author of the bestseller ''Dream Saver'', and currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Gerasim Grigoryevich Izmaylov (russian: Герасим Григорьевич Измайлов; ''circa'' 1745 - ''after'' 1795) was a Russian navigator involved in the Russian colonization of the Americas and in the establishment of the colonies of Russian America in Alaska. He was responsible for the first detailed maps of the Aleutian Islands. A native of Yakutsk, Izmaylov attended a navigation school in Okhotsk with Dmitry Bocharov, who became his lifelong business companion. In 1771, both were caught up in the Benyovszky mutiny at Bolsheretsk on Kamchatka. Izmaylov attempted to break away from the mutineers but, after being flogged, was marooned on the isle of Simushir, one of the uninhabited Kuril Islands. For a year he subsisted on "scallops, grass, and roots" before being rescued by yasak gatherers. Marat Nailevich Izmailov (russian: Марат Наилевич Измайлов, tt-Cyrl, Марат Наил улы Измайлов; born 21 September 1982) is a Russian former professional footballer. Career Enver İzmaylov was born in Fergana, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, Soviet Union into a Crimean Tatar family previously deported from the Crimea in which he later returned to 1989. Although he played guitar since he was fifteen, he studied bassoon at the Fergana Music School and graduated in 1973.
