Izzi is a North Eastern Igbo sub-group, in South Eastern, Nigeria. It is also the name of the territory in which they live, the Local Government Area of Izzi. They speak the Izzi dialect. Izi (Ancient Egyptian Official)
Izi was an important ancient Egyptian official of the Fourth Dynasty. His most important title was ''overseer of the treasury''. Other important titles he hold are ''scribe of the king's document'', ''overseer of the great house'' and ''overseer of the king's ornament''. Izi is mainly known from different relief decorated blocks of his mastaba. These blocks are now in the Egyptian Museum (Cairo), in the Pushkin Museum and in the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek. On the latter blocks he bears different titles making it possible that they belong to a different person with the name Izi. His mastaba was discovered around 1890 at Saqqara. Iziane "Izi" Castro Marques (born March 13, 1982) is a retired Brazilian professional basketball player. Castro Marques played for the Brazil women's national basketball team and played for the Miami Sol, Phoenix Mercury, Seattle Storm, Atlanta Dream, Washington Mystics and the Connecticut Sun of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Izi Dorot ( he, יצחק דורות; 1916–1980), born Isidore Roth, was an Israeli military official, and director of the Shabak between 1952 and 1953 and a Deputy Director of the Mossad between 1953 and 1963. Born in Poland in 1916, Dorot immigrated to the British Mandate of Palestine in 1936, and served in the Jewish Settlement Police. In World War II he volunteered and served in the British Army. After his discharge he was recruited to the Haganah Intelligence Service. Subsequent to the 1948 Arab-Israeli War he was transferred to the Israel Security Agency (ISA, Shin Bet). Igor "Izi" Ivanov ( mk, Игор "Изи" Иванов; born 3 April 1973) is a Macedonian film director and writer. He studied philosophy and began his film career in 1993, when he started directing series of films for television. Between 1995 and 2004 he made several documentaries and short films; one of them, the 15-minute-long Bugs (Bubački, 2004), competed at the 54th Berlinale and won Golden Leopard at the Locarno festival.
