Lower Kama Reservoir or Nizhnekamsk Reservoir (russian: Нижнекамское водоранилище; tt-Cyrl, Түбән Кама сусаклагычы) is the lowest reservoir from the Kama River hydroelectric cascade. It is situated in Tatarstan, Udmurtia, Bashkortostan and Perm Krai, Russian Federation. The reservoir was filled in 1978-81 up to 62 m above sea level after the construction of dam of the Lower Kama Hydroelectric Station. The water level in reservoir depends on the upper reservoirs regime (Kama Reservoir and Votkinsk Reservoir). The Lower Kama Reservoir has a surface area of 1,084 km² and a volume of 2.8 billion cubic meters. Its length along Kama is 185 km and 157 km along Belaya. The reservoir also used for water supply, irrigation and fishing. The planned level of the reservoir is 68 m above sea level. Agryzsky District (russian: Агрызский райо́н; tt-Cyrl, Әгерҗе районы, ''Ägerce rayonı'') is a territorial administrative unit and municipality of the Republic of Tatarstan within the Russian Federation. Izhevsk Reservoir
The Izhevsk Pond (russian: Ижевский пруд) is an artificial body of water, or reservoir, created in 1760 at the urging of Peter Ivanovich Shuvalov for the needs of an iron works in Izhevsk, Russia. It is placed at the confluence of the Izh River and its tributary, the Yagul. The reservoir was filled with water necessary for the factory's operation by June 1763. The dam was reconstructed by Alexander Deryabin in the early 19th century and underwent further modernization in 1984. A number of industrial enterprises skirt the reservoir, and its embankment is the most important esplanade in the capital of Udmurtia.
