Welsh ( or ) is a Celtic language family, Celtic language of the Brittonic languages, Brittonic subgroup that is native to the Welsh people. Iwan Babij
Ivan Babiy (March 5, 1893 – July 25, 1934) was a Ukrainian educator and military officer. He was one of the main organizers of the "Ukrainian Youth for Christ" festival and a proponent of coexistence between Ukrainians and Poles in Galicia as an integral part of Poland. Iwan Benito Marvin Redan (born 21 August 1980), better known as Iwan Redan, is a Dutch footballer who plays as a striker. Iwan Pylypow
Iwan Pylypiw or Ivan Pylypow ( uk, Іван Пилипiв, September 28, 1859 – October 10, 1936) and Vasyl Eleniak were the first Ukrainian immigrants to Canada in 1891–93. Pylypow was born in the village of Nebyliv in Kalush county (''povit'') in Austrian Galicia (today Kalush Raion, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast). He was a peasant logging contractor, and after falling on hard times considered finding a better life abroad, like many other Galicians of the time. Pylypiv had heard about free lands in Canada from German neighbours, and after corresponding with former classmate Johan Krebs, who had initially settled near Medicine Hat, North-West Territories, he set off for Canada with his friends Eleniak and Tyt Ziniak in the fall of 1891. Ivan Müller, sometimes spelled Iwan Mueller (1786 in Reval, Estonia – 1854 in Bückeburg), was a clarinetist, composer and inventor who at the beginning of the 19th century was responsible for a major step forward in the development of the clarinet, the air-tight pad. Iwan Otto Armand Knorr (3 January 1853 – 22 January 1916) was a German composer and music teacher. Life A native of Gniew, he attended the Leipzig Conservatory where he studied with Ignaz Moscheles, Ernst Friedrich Richter and Carl Reinecke. Gwilym Iwan Jones (3 May 1904 – 25 January 1995) was a Welsh photographer and anthropologist. His photographs of life in Nigeria in the 1930s, taken whilst serving as a colonial District Officer, led to an interest in ethnology and a second career as an academic at the University of Cambridge. Life Jones was born in Cape Colony and grew up in Chile and England, studying at St. John's School, Leatherhead before winning a scholarship to Jesus College, Oxford. He then worked for the Colonial Service in Nigeria (1926–1946), serving as District Officer for Bende and the surrounding area. Iwan Gronow (born 24 May) is a British musician, writer and producer. A bass guitarist, he has previously been a member of Haven and Mutineers. Iwan Griffiths
Iwan Griffiths is drummer for Welsh rock band The Automatic. Iwan originates from Cowbridge in Wales, and lives in Cardiff. He has a law degree from Cardiff University. Musical career Along with bandmates Rob and Frost he was in the lineup of the band's original format when they were known as ''White Rabbit'', later changing their name to The Automatic, an idea of Iwan's, and recruiting screaming synth player Alex Pennie, and later guitarist Paul Mullen. Iwan Gilkin (7 January 1858 – 28 September 1924) was a Belgian poet. Born in Brussels, Gilkin was associated with the Symbolist school in Belgium.
