Ivó Giner
Ivó Giner (born 21 June 1976) is a Spanish professional golfer who played on the European Tour. Career Giner represented Spain in the Eisenhower Trophy in 1994 and again in 1996, when he secured a third-place finish together with Sergio García, José Manuel Lara and Álvaro Salto. In 1996 he won the Spanish International Youth Championship, a year after losing a playoff against Cea and García in the Spanish Amateur Championship. Giner turned professional in November 1996 and joined the Challenge Tour, where he had immediate success winning the 1997 Open dei Tessali. Had played in the European Tour in 1998 and 2000 but lost his card at the end of the 2000 season and did not manage to come through the Challenge Tour Rankings or the Qualifying School in either 2001 or 2002. The 1996 Eisenhower Trophy took place 14 to 17 November on the Masters and Legends courses at Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club near Manila, Philippines. It was the 20th World Amateur Team Championship for the Eisenhower Trophy. The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event with 47 four-man teams. The best three scores for each round counted towards the team total. Australia won the Eisenhower Trophy for the third time, finishing 11 strokes ahead of the silver medalists, Sweden. Spain took the bronze medal with Canada in fourth place. Kalle Aitala, representing Finland, had the lowest individual score, 12-under-par 276. Teams 47 four-man teams contested the event. The 1994 Eisenhower Trophy took place 6 to 9 October on the Albatros course at Le Golf National and on La Vallée course at La Boulie near Versailles, France. It was the 19th World Amateur Team Championship for the Eisenhower Trophy. The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event with 45 four-man teams. The best three scores for each round counted towards the team total. Initially each team played one round on each of the two courses. The leading 24 teams then played two further rounds at Le Golf National while the remaining teams played two rounds at La Boulie. The United States won the Eisenhower Trophy for the first time since 1982, finishing 11 strokes ahead of the silver medalists, Great Britain and Ireland. Sweden took the bronze medal with Australia in fourth place. Allen Doyle had the lowest individual score, 10-under-par 277, four strokes better than Warren Bennett. Martin Erlandsson
Martin Erlandsson (born 12 February 1974) is a Swedish professional golfer. Career Erlandsson was a top amateur golfer, representing Sweden in the 1996 Eisenhower Trophy before turning professional the following year. He joined the Challenge Tour, where he spent seven seasons before winning his first tournament in 2003 at the Izki Challenge de España and earning promotion to the European Tour for 2004. He spent a further seven seasons at this level, despite finishing three places shy of automatic qualification in his debut season and having to visit qualifying school. However, after a poor 2010 season, Erlandsson returned to the Challenge Tour in 2011. Erlandsson's best finishes on the European Tour are a pair of runner-up placings in the 2005 Celtic Manor Wales Open and the 2009 Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles.
