Ivor Lawton
Ivor James John Lawton (born 5 September 1995) is an English football manager who manages Coventry United. Playing career Lawton joined Coventry City after being spotted playing for Mount Nod Juniors at the age of six. According to the then manager Tony Mowbray, in May 2015 he "earned the right for us to give him an offer of a new contract by his personality, his drive and conviction". He joined Conference North club Nuneaton Town on loan at the start of the 2015–16 season, and made his senior debut playing at right-back in a 1–1 draw with Stockport County at Liberty Way on 22 August. He made his professional debut for Coventry after coming on as a 76th-minute substitute for Conor Thomas in a 0–0 draw with Yeovil Town in a Football League Trophy match at Huish Park on 6 October 2015; Coventry went on to lose the penalty shoot-out 4–3. Coventry ( or ) is a City status in the United Kingdom, city in the West Midlands (county), West Midlands, England. It is on the River Sherbourne. Tony Mowbray
Anthony Mark Mowbray (born 22 November 1963) is an English former professional footballer who is currently the manager of Sunderland. Mowbray played for Middlesbrough, Celtic and Ipswich Town as a defender. He began his coaching career with Ipswich Town and took his first managerial job at Scottish Premier League side Hibernian, where he won the Scottish Football Writers' Association Manager of the Year award in his first season. He moved on to West Bromwich Albion in 2006, where he won the Football League Championship in 2008, but then suffered relegation from the Premier League the following year. Mowbray was then appointed as manager of Celtic, but was dismissed after nine months. Mowbray subsequently took the manager's role at another of his former clubs, Middlesbrough. The Football Association Challenge Cup, more commonly known as the FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic English football. A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders.
