Iveta Klimášová
Iveta Klimášová (born 14 January 1998) is a Slovak ice hockey player, playing in the Finnish Naisten Liiga (NSML) with HPK Kiekkonaiset. She was a member of the Slovak national ice hockey team during the 2010s. Klimášová and national team teammate Lenka Čurmová were the first Slovak players to play in the North American Premier Hockey Federation The Premier Hockey Federation (PHF), formerly the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL), is a women's professional ice hockey league located in the United States and Canada. Gelnica ( hu, Gölnicbánya, german: Göllnitz) is a town in the Košice Region of Eastern Slovakia. It has a population of 6,076. Names The name comes from the name of the river Hnilec derived from Slavic word ''hnilý'' (rotten). The initial ''g'' in the German form ''Göllnitz'' indicates that the name was adopted by Germans before the spirantisation of Slavic ''g'' to ''h'' in Slovak (around the 12th century). The current Slovak name ''Gelnica'' comes from this secondary German form. The Hungarian ''Gölnicbánya'' (''bánya'' – mine) refers to the town's mining activity. MAC Budapest (women) Players
MAC HKB Újbuda is a Hungarian ice hockey team that currently plays in the Erste Liga. They play their home games at Tüskecsarnok, located in Budapest. In their first year of competition they would finish second in the regular season, and would reach the league finals, being swept in 4 games by DVTK Jegesmedvék. In their second season MAC would once again finish the regular season in 2nd place. They won their first playoff series 4-1 over Fehérvári Titanok, as well as their second over Debreceni HK in the semi-final 4-1. Hämeenlinnan Pallokerho (HPK) is a professional ice hockey team in the Liiga, the top men's ice hockey league in Finland. Their home ice is the Ritari-areena in Hämeenlinna.
