Ivaylo Petkov
Ivaylo Petkov ( bg, Ивайло Петков; born 24 March 1976 in Dolni Dabnik, Pleven Province) is a former Bulgarian footballer, who played mainly as a left back and centre-back. He has won three A PFG titles, one Süper Lig title, a Bulgarian Cup and Bulgarian Supercup at Club Level, playing for 6 different teams throughout his career. Career Petkov start to play football in Spartak Pleven. In 1995, he made his debut for the first team. He started to make his name in season 1997–98 when played for the present team Litex Lovech. After that he played for İstanbulspor, Fenerbahçe SK and Ankaragücü football clubs in Turkey and Kuban Krasnodar in Russia. In January 2009, Petkov returned to Bulgaria and signed with Litex Lovech. He has won two A PFG titles, a Bulgarian Cup and a Bulgarian Supercup. At the end of 2010–11 season, Petkov announced his retirement from professional football. PFC Litex Lovech
Litex ( bg, Литекс) is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in Lovech, which currently competes in the Second League. The club was founded in 1921 as Hisarya Sports Club. The club's home ground is the Gradski Stadion, which has a capacity of 8,100 seats, electric floodlights and permission to stage European matches. As one of the successful Bulgarian clubs outside the capital Sofia, Litex have won the domestic championship four times and the Bulgarian Cup on four occasions. 1998 FIFA World Cup
The 1998 FIFA World Cup was the 16th FIFA World Cup, the football world championship for men's national teams. The finals tournament was held in France from 10 June to 12 July 1998. The country was chosen as the host nation by FIFA for the second time in the history of the tournament, defeating Morocco in the bidding process. The Ukraine national football team ( uk, Збірна України з футболу) represents Ukraine in men's international football and is governed by the Ukrainian Association of Football, the governing body for football in Ukraine. Hristo Atanasov Bonev ( bg, Христо Aтанасов Бонев; born 3 February 1947), also known as Zuma ( bg, Зума), is a Bulgarian footballer manager and former player who last managed Lokomotiv Plovdiv in the Bulgarian A PFG. One of the greatest Bulgarian footballers, Bonev was renowned for his vision and technique. Club career Bonev started his career at Lokomotiv Plovdiv in 1964 where he played until 1981 with a brief spell at CSKA Sofia in 1967. During his spell at Lokomotiv Plovdiv, he became their star player, while also was called to play for the national team. In 1981 he moved to Greece to play for AEK Athens. The 2003–04 Süper Lig was the 46th league season, and the third season of Süper Lig. Fenerbahçe won their 15th title, being 4 points ahead Trabzonspor. Since Turkey dropped from eighth to tenth place in the UEFA association coefficient rankings at the end of the 2002–03 season, the league has lost two of its UEFA Cup berths. 2002–03 Süper Lig
The 2002-03 Süper Lig was the 45th edition of top-flight professional football in Turkey. The season celebrated the centenary of Beşiktaş J.K., who became eventual champions. Moreover, Malatyaspor qualified for the first time in a European cup competition after a 2–0 away win at Turkish Cup winners Trabzonspor combined with Fenerbahçe's draw at İzmir with relegated Göztepe, 1–1, despite being ahead in the first half. 2001–02 Süper Lig
The 2001–02 Süper Lig was the 44th edition of top-flight professional football in Turkey. Galatasaray S.K. became champions for the 15th time. Turkish First Football League was renamed as Turkish Super League in this season. Turkey climbed from eleventh to seventh place in the UEFA association coefficient rankings at the end of the 2000–01 season, that means the league has gained additional two spots for the UEFA Cup and for the first time, the champions will now enter the group stage of the UEFA Champions League instead of having to compete in the qualifying rounds.
