Ivana Lovrić
Ivana Lovrić (born 1 September 1984) is a retired Croatian team handball player. She was played in the Croatia women's national handball team, Croatian national team, and participated at the 2011 World Women's Handball Championship in Brazil and the Handball at the 2012 Summer Olympics – Women's tournament, 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Fatal car accident On 28.October 2012 Ivana Lovrić was involved in a car accident. Police report states: 28-year-old Ivana Lovrić driver of Opel Corsa in Zagreb's Dankovecka Street ran into a 33-year-old woman crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing at the intersection with Svetojakobska Street. The report also said that the woman was thrown away on the westbound lane while the Ivana Lovrić continued driving without stopping, without providing the pedestrian with adequate assistance or notifying ambulance and police officers. Colonia (music Group)
Colonia is a Croatian dance music duo from Vinkovci, Croatia. The band has released thirteen albums and over 35 singles to date with various songs and albums gaining platinum status. They are known for winning the first ever Eurodance competition in 2001 and their various hits throughout the years. History 1996–1997: Beginnings and ''Vatra i led'' Colonia was founded in 1996 by Boris Đurđević and Tomislav Jelić, two DJs from Vinkovci, Croatia. The 2011 World Women's Handball Championship was the 20th edition of the international championship tournament in women's Team sport handball that is governed by the International Handball Federation (IHF). Brazil hosted the event from 2–18 December 2011. The International Handball Federation (IHF) is the administrative and controlling body for handball and beach handball. Handball At The 2012 Summer Olympics – Women's Tournament
The women's handball tournament at the 2012 Olympic Games in London was held from 28 July to 11 August. The preliminaries and quarter-finals were held at the Copper Box and the semi-finals and final took place at the Basketball Arena. Twelve nations were represented in the tournament. The four best teams from each group advanced to a knockout round, while the 5th and 6th teams in each group were classified 9th–12th by the results of their group matches. Unlike in previous Olympics, there was no placement matches involving the losing teams of the quarterfinals. Norway won the tournament and gold medal, beating Montenegro in the final.
