Ivan Shopov
Ivan Shopov ( bg, Иван Шопов, born 7 September 1982), better known by his stage names Cooh (COOH, CooH) and Balkansky (Бalkansky), is a Bulgarian music producer, DJ, print maker and fine art creator.IMO Record"Cooh Biography", ''IMO Records'', retrieved 7 December 2011. He produces drum and bass, dubstep IDM, ambient and jazz music. Shopov was born in Troyan, a town in central northern Bulgaria. At 16, he played in a punk-metal band in Troyan. He got involved in electronic music at age 18. In 2002, Shopov began a promotion of drum and bass throughout Bulgaria together with Valeri Sholevski (Ogonek). Shopov is a graduate of the National Academy of Arts in Sofia. 2015 World Wheelchair Curling Championship – Qualification Event
The qualification event of the 2015 World Wheelchair Curling Championship was held from November 1 to 6, 2014 at the Lillehammer Curling Club in Lillehammer, Norway. The qualification event was open to any World Curling Federation member nation not already qualified for the World Championship. The event's two top finishers, Norway and Germany, will join the top eight finishers from the last World Wheelchair Curling Championship at this season's event in Lohja, Finland. This event would have marked the first appearance of Israel at an international wheelchair curling event, but Israel was deemed ineligible to play due to an inability to meet classification criteria. Wheelchair Curling
Wheelchair curling is an adaptation of curling for athletes with a disability affecting their lower limbs or gait. Wheelchair curling is governed by the World Curling Federation, and is one of the sports in the Winter Paralympic Games. Overview Wheelchair curling is played with the same rocks and on the same ice as regular curling, though the rocks are thrown from a stationary wheelchair and there is no sweeping. Rocks may be thrown by hand while leaning over the side of the wheelchair, or pushed by a delivery stick. This is a pole with a bracket that fits over the rock handle, allowing the rock to be pushed while applying correct rotation. Stones delivered between the house and the near hogline must be placed within 18 inches either side of the centre line and must be released prior to reaching the near hogline.
