Ivan Reis is a Brazilians, Brazilian comics artist. He is known for his work on comic books such as Dark Horse Comics' ''Ghost (Dark Horse Comics), Ghost'', Marvel Comics' ''Genis-Vell, Captain Marvel'' and ''Vision (Marvel Comics), Avengers Icons: The Vision'' and DC Comics' ''Action Comics'', ''Green Lantern (comic book), Green Lantern'' and ''Aquaman'' series. According to collaborator Geoff Johns, Reis's drawing style resembles those of Alan Davis and Neal Adams. Career For three years, Reis worked for MaurĂcio de Sousa in Brazil. Lady Death is a fictional goddess appearing in American comic books published by Coffin Comics. Created by Brian Pulido, Lady Death first appeared in ''Evil Ernie'' #1 in December 1991. Lightning Comics was an American independent comic publisher headquartered in Oakland County, Michigan, that operated from 1993 to 1998. Founders Joseph and Steve Zyskowski wanted to make comic books unlike the ones they had read before. They believed the newest comics "seemed to lack substance." The first comic published by Lightning Comics, ''Bloodfire'' #1, sold 50,000 comics. The company's idea was to make each issue a limited printing to enhance collectability. Also, after that first book, Greg Weed was hired to move the company from marker to airbrush. ''Bloodfire'' eventually ran 13 issues.
