Ivan Ratkić
Ivan Ratkić (born 22 February 1986) is a former Croatian alpine skiing, alpine skier. Ratkić was born in Zagreb, at the time in SR Croatia, SFR Yugoslavia. He is a member of SK Medveščak. Ratkić has competed at the 2006 Winter Olympics, 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics. He competed at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships on three occasions. His best result is 13th place in super combined at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2009, 2009 World Championships in Val d'Isere, France. His best FIS Alpine Ski World Cup, World Cup result is 30th position at the super combined race in Beaver Creek Resort, Beaver Creek in 2009. He has entered 9 World Cup races in his career. Beaver Creek Resort is a major ski resort in the western United States, near Avon, Colorado. The resort comprises three villages, the main Beaver Creek Village, Bachelor Gulch, and Arrowhead to the west. The resort is owned and operated by Vail Resorts which operates multiple additional resorts. Beaver Creek is a regular host of World Cup events, usually in early December. History The valley that houses Beaver Creek Resort lies just south of Avon and was first settled in 1881.
