Ivan Pavle (born March 8, 1955, Galanta) is a Demographics of Slovakia, Slovakian painter. Life Pavle was born on March 8, 1955, in Galanta, Slovakia, to Matej Pavle and Alžbeta Pavleová. He grew up in Prievidza with two brothers, Matej and Slavomír. He completed primary school in Prievidza in 1970. Pavle then studied engineering in high school in Tvrdošín and fine art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava under professors Dezider Castiglione and Ivan Vychlopen, graduating in 1981. He married a Fine Arts classmate, Soňa Oravcová, and they have two children. Since arts school, Pavle has pursued an artistic career focused on painting, drawing, graphics, and sculpture. Galanta
Galanta ( hu, Galánta, german: Gallandau) is a town (about 15,000 inhabitants) in the Trnava Region of Slovakia. It is situated 50 km due east of the Slovak capital Bratislava. Etymology The name is derived from a Slavic name ''Golęta'' (initially a collective name of a youth group selected from a kin and responsible for guarding). A pre-Hungarian origin of the settlement is documented by the Proto-Slavic nasal "ę" conserved in the name (GalaNta; compare with Czech Holetín and Holetice). Geography Galanta lies in the Danubian Lowland (''Podunajská nížina''), the warm southern part of Slovakia. There are many agricultural fields around Galanta, where wheat, corn, and other vegetables and fruits are grown.
