Ivan De Battista
Ivan De Battista (born 13 September 1977) is a Maltese actor, director, author, and poet/lyricist. Early life and education Ivan De Battista was born in Gżira, Malta to Martin and Irene De Battista, the oldest of three brothers. His acting studies included an ATCL Performing and Performer's Certificate in Acting at Trinity College, London, and an intensive Pinnacle Film Acting Course, Curtain Raiser Theatre Group and Bronk Productions Acting Course. He was awarded a Masters in Marketing by the University of Wales in 2015. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and has a diploma in Management from the University of Leicester. Gżira
Gżira ( mt, Il-Gżira) is a town in the Central Region of Malta. It is located between Msida and Sliema, also bordering on Ta' Xbiex. It has a population of 8,029 as of March 2014. The word ''Gżira'' means "island" in Maltese, and the town is named after Manoel Island which lies just adjacent to the town. The seafront of Gżira has views of the walled city of Valletta, which are illuminated at night, forming a backdrop to Manoel Island, the yacht marina and a seafront public garden. Simone De Battista (born 14 November 1977) is a Maltese film and theatre actress. She started off her career in the theatre and musical scene since she was very young. Her early theatre performances were held at the MTADA Theatre, Blata l-Bajda. As an actress, she performed many major roles in productions with Atturi Salesjani, Bronk Productions, CurtainRaiser Theatre Troupe, Kumpanija Teatru Rjal and Produzzjoni Teatrali Irtokki.
