Parliament is elected by universal vote, equal directly, secret and freely expressed. The President of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova is elected by the Parliament, with a minimum of 52 votes. The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Moldova, on a proposal of the Central Electoral Commission, decides to validate or invalidate the mandate of the Member of Parliament. The mandate is invalid in the case of violation of electoral legislation. The Parliament is meeting at the convening of the Speaker of the Parliament within 30 days of the elections. 	Vitalie Pîrlog Vitalie Pîrlog (; born July 28, 1974, Nisporeni) is a Moldovan politician. Education and early career Between 1992 and 1997, he studied at the Free International University of Moldova ( Chişinău) (Law Department), receiving a Degree in International Law. Pîrlog began his career in 1993 as Legal Adviser within an international private company. From 1997 till 2001, he served as Senior Adviser in the Document Services of the Office of the President of Moldova. 	Vladimir Filat Vladimir Filat (born 6 May 1969), commonly referred to as Vlad Filat (), is a Moldovan businessman and politician, founder of Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova. He was the Prime Minister of Moldova from 25 September 2009 to 25 April 2013. He also was appointed as the Interim President of Moldova for a brief period of time in 2010.
