Isuzu Vietnam Co. (IVC) is a manufacturer of commercial vehicles and motor vehicle dealer based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The company was founded on October 19, 1995, with a capital of US$15 million as a joint venture. Partners are the Japanese company Isuzu and Itochu Shoji, each with a share of 35%. From Vietnam, other partners are Saigon Automobile Mechanical Corporation at 20% and the Govap Import-Export Company with 10%. The campus covers an area of 70,000 m², of which 28,666 m² built. Since the opening of the plant will be here a year from 3,000 to 5,000 cars for the local market built. Since May 2010, the company has exported trucks to neighboring Laos to cater to the growing demands. The local dealer, the Champa Lao Co., Ltd. wants to distribute nine NQR75L trucks monthly. The Isuzu MU-X is a mid-size SUV produced by Isuzu. It is a body-on-frame SUV based on the D-Max, and the successor to the MU-7. The name "MU-X" stands for "Multi Utility – eXtreme". __TOC__ Predecessor: Isuzu MU-7 (''510''; 2004) The predecessor to the MU-X, the Isuzu MU-7 is an Isuzu D-Max pickup-based SUV with a three-row seating arrangement. The is a medium duty truck produced by Isuzu since 1959. Outside Japan it is known as N series and Q Series. The range was originally mainly available in Japan and other Asian countries. The Isuzu Giga ( ja, いすゞ・ギガ) is a line of heavy-duty commercial vehicles produced by Isuzu since 1994. Outside Japan it is known as Isuzu C/E series. Isuzu D-Max
The Isuzu D-Max is a pickup truck manufactured since 2002 by Isuzu Motors. A successor of the Isuzu Faster/KB, the first and second-generation model shares its platform with the Chevrolet Colorado. The third-generation model shares its platform with the third-generation Mazda BT-50, which is produced in the same Isuzu plant in Thailand. In Australasia between 2003 and 2008, the D-Max was marketed as the Holden Rodeo, but then it was relaunched as the Holden Colorado. Isuzu Forward
The (also known as the Isuzu F-Series) is a line of medium-duty commercial vehicles manufactured by Isuzu since 1970, following the earlier TY model which occupied the same slot in the market. All F-series trucks are cab over designs and the cabin comes fully built from the factory. Most models come with a diesel engine; but, some markets get CNG derivatives as well. The F-series is available a variety of cab styles, engines, 4WD or 2WD depending on the market it is sold. While Isuzu's main plant is in Japan, these trucks are locally assembled from CKD kits in numerous countries. Most mid-size and big-size models of the truck are distinguishable by a front 'Forward' badge; but the common Isuzu badge is usually used on the rear.
