István Nagy (actor)
István Nagy (1909–1976) was a Hungarian stage and film actor.Petrucci p.529 He starred alongside the actress Katalin Karády in several films. He was born in Transylvania which was then part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, but was subsequently ceded to Romania and went to university and began acting in Cluj. When Hungary annexed Transylvania in 1940 he moved to Budapest and appeared onstage at the National Theatre and elsewhere and in films at the city's Hunnia Studios. István Nagy (athlete)
István Nagy (born 28 April 1959 in Heves) is a retired 100 and 200 metres runner from Hungary. He won the Hungarian outdoor championships 7 times, he also won the Hungarian Indoor championships at 60/200 metres on 6 occasions also. He competed at the 1980 Moscow Games in the 100/200 metres but did not make it past the Quarter finals in either sprint. In 1981 he won a silver medal at the World Students 200 metres final. He competed at the 1982 European championships in the 200 metres, where he finished 5th in the final. He won two medals at the European Indoor Championships The European Indoor Championships was a men's tennis tournament played in Berlin, Germany. István Nagy (28 March 1873 – 13 February 1937) was a Hungarian artist who specialized in landscapes and figure painting. Biography A native of Csíkmindszent, Harghita County, Austro-Hungarian Empire, he was born into a land-owning family. Rather than take up agricultural pursuits, he attended the teacher training college in Kolozsvár and taught in Homokmégy.Biography

Discovering that he had artistic talent, and encouraged by Gusztáv Kelety, he went to study at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in Budapest, where his primary teacher was Bertalan Székely.
