Istiaia-Aidipsos ( el, Ιστιαία-Αιδηψός) is a municipality in the Euboea regional unit, Central Greece, Greece. The seat of the municipality is the town Istiaia. The municipality has an area of 509.204 km2. Oreoi
Oreoi ( el, Ωρεοί) is a village and a former municipality in Euboea, Greece. It was named after the ancient town Oreus. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Istiaia-Aidipsos, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 49.913 km2. Population 3,017 (2011). It is situated on the northwest coast of the island Euboea, by the Oreoi Strait that connects the Aegean Sea with the North Euboean Gulf. The small port Agiokampos, 5 km west of Oreoi, is served by ferries to Glyfa on the mainland. A large marble statue of a bull from a funerary monument of the 4th century B.C. was raised from the harbour of Oreoi in 1965, and is exhibited in the town. Istiaia
Istiaia ( el, Ιστιαία, , before 1913: Ξηροχώρι - ''Xirochori''2.537 Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Istiaia-Aidipsos, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 181.299 km2. At the 2011 census the population was 7,091 for the municipal unit and 5,522 for the community. The town is located in the northwestern end of the island Euboea, 5 km from the north coast, and north of the mountain Telethrio. It was the capital of Istiaia Province until its abolishment in 2006. Visitor attractions of Istiaia include the Museum of Natural History and the church of Agios Nikolaos. Aidipsos ( el, Αιδηψός, ) is a village and a former municipality in Euboea, Greece. The municipality Aidipsos was founded in 1997 by the merger of the municipality Loutra Aidipsou with the communities Agios ''Agios'' ( el, Άγιος), plural ''Agioi'' (), transcribes masculine gender Greek words meaning ' sacred' or ' saint' (for example Agios Dimitrios, Agioi Anargyroi). Lichada
Lichada ( el, Λιχάδα, ''Licháda'') is a village in Euboea, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Istiaia-Aidipsos, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 39.891 km2. In 2011 its population was 181 for the village and 1,122 for the community, which includes the villages Agios Georgios (pop. 868), Vasilina, Gregolimano, Kavos, Kokkinias and the uninhabited islands Monolia and Strongyli. Lichada is located at the western tip of Euboea. It is 10 km north of Agios Konstantinos, 16 km west of Aidipsos, 37 km east of Lamia and 75 km northwest of Chalcis. Euboea ( el, Περιφερειακή ενότητα Εύβοιας) is one of the regional units of Greece. It is part of the administrative region of Central Greece. It consists of the islands of Euboea and Skyros, as well as a 260 km² area on the Greek mainland.
