Issah Samir
Issa/Issah Samir (born July 26, 1989) is a Ghanaian boxer who won silver in the bantamweight division at the 2007 All-Africa Games and qualified for the 2008 Summer Olympics. He is the brother of light-heavyweight Bastir Samir. Career At the All Africa Games he lost the final to local Algerian Abdelhalim Ouradi. At the first qualifier he lost to Hicham Mesbahi, but won the second African qualifier beating southpaw Bruno Julie in the final. Héctor Manzanilla Rangel (born June 28, 1985 in Los Teques, Miranda) is a Venezuelan bantamweight boxer who has won a bronze medal at the Central American Games. He is most respected for giving amateur superstar Guillermo Rigondeaux one of the toughest fights of his career. Career At the Central American Games 2006 he lost to Mexican Arturo Santos Reyes in the semis. Louis Richard Bruno Julie (born July 11, 1978), known as Bruno Julie, is a Mauritian bantamweight boxer who won a number of medals in international tournaments and competed in the 2008 Olympics when he won the first-ever Olympic medal for the island of Mauritius. Career In his first major tournament, at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester, Julie reached the quarter-finals. Four years later in 2006 he reached the final by defeating Mmoloki Nogeng, losing only to Indian Akhil Kumar. He also finished second in the African Championships the same year.
