Israel Abrahan Pineda (born April 3, 2000) is a Venezuelan professional baseball catcher in the Washington Nationals organization. He made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut for the Nationals in 2022. Career Minor leagues A native of Maracay, Pineda signed with Washington as an international amateur free agent in 2016 for a reported $450,000 bonus. He made his professional debut for the Gulf Coast League Nationals in 2017 and advanced to the New York–Penn League's Auburn Doubledays in 2018. Wilmington Blue Rocks
The Wilmington Blue Rocks are a Minor League Baseball team of the South Atlantic League and the High-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals. They are located in Wilmington, Delaware, and play their home games at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium. Joseph Nicholas Gallo (born November 19, 1993) is an American professional baseball outfielder for the Minnesota Twins of Major League Baseball (MLB). Designated for assignment (DFA) is a contractual term used in Major League Baseball (MLB). A player who is designated for assignment is immediately removed from the team's 40-man roster, after which the team must within seven days, return the player to the 40-man roster, place the player on waivers, trade the player, release the player, or outright the player from the 40-man roster into Minor League Baseball.
