Isles And Glaciers
Isles & Glaciers was an American post-hardcore supergroup formed in 2008. They recorded material for their debut EP, ''The Hearts of Lonely People'' December 3–13, 2008 in Seattle, Washington and again in April 2009. It was produced by Casey Bates, and was released on March 9, 2010. Even though vocalist Craig Owens stated that the group will not be collaborating or releasing new material again, Vic Fuentes stated that the band may release more material in the future. History Isles & Glaciers was first rumored to exist after Craig Owens ( Chiodos, Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows) and Jonny Craig ( Dance Gavin Dance, Emarosa) performed a show in Lexington, Kentucky on August 30, 2008. Owens confirmed the rumors on September 4, 2008. Alternative Press announced the project officially and released the band's final lineup on December 15, 2008. Jonny Craig
Jonathan Monroe Craig (born March 26, 1986) is a Canadian-American singer and songwriter, best known as the former lead vocalist of bands Dance Gavin Dance, Emarosa, and Rain City Drive, as well as the co-lead vocalist of the short-lived supergroup Isles & Glaciers. As a solo artist, he has released two studio albums, two EPs and a live album to date, and his distinct type of soul-based singing has earned him considerable acclaim. Early life Jonathan Monroe Craig was born in Minot, North Dakota. In a further interview with the music blog ''Eat Yo Beats'', Jonny said "my mom made me listen to tons of shit when I was kid, everything from Michael Bolton to some weird ass Christian rock bands" and also that it was this that became his main influence, rather than gospel music. ''The Hearts of Lonely People'' is the first and only EP by American emo/post-hardcore rock supergroup Isles & Glaciers. The record was released on March 9, 2010, through Equal Vision Records, sold exclusively through Hot Topic stores and online retailers. A remix version of the EP was released in 2014. Vocalist Craig Owens confirmed in late 2010 that Isles & Glaciers was a "one time thing side project", making this the only release by the band. Stickam was a live-streaming video website that launched in 2005. Stickam featured user-submitted pictures, audio, video, and most prominently, live streaming video chat. The site quickly expanded to include live shows and produced content from MTV, G4 TV, CBS Radio, NATPE, CES, and many others, as well as live performances and shows with numerous musicians and celebrities. Emarosa ( ) is an American rock band formed in Lexington, Kentucky, in 2006. The band currently consists of lead guitarist and founding member ER White and lead vocalist Bradley Walden, who joined the band in 2013. The group has undergone several line-up changes throughout its career, with lead guitarist ER White being the sole remaining founding member. Originally oriented towards post-hardcore and alternative rock, Emarosa has gravitated towards a more pop rock sound in recent years.
