Islamic Emirate Of Byara
The Islamic Emirate of Byara was a short-lived unrecognized Kurdish Islamic state ruled by Sharia law which declared independence from Iraq in 2001 and ended in 2003. Foundation In September 2001, in the Byara District, located in the Avroman region on the Iran–Iraq border, a Kurdish jihadist group called Ansar al-Islam set up the Islamic Emirate of Byara, with the city of Byara as its centre. Mullah Krekar, leader of Ansar al-Islam, was the head of the Emirate, and Wirya Salih and Ali Bapir were his deputies. The emirate was the first time that Kurdish Islamists succeeded at controlling territory and establishing Sharia law. Kurdish jihadists from Iran provided vital cross-border support to the Emirate. When the area was under embargo, Iranian Kurdish jihadists set up networks that illegally smuggled to the area and aided the Emirate.https://www.rudaw.net/english/kurdistan/03092020 https://www.rudaw.net/english/middleeast/syria/23062020 Life under the Islamic Emirate Ans ...

List Of States With Limited Recognition
A number of polities have declared independence and sought diplomatic recognition from the international community as sovereign states, but have not been universally recognised as such. These entities often have ''de facto'' control of their territory. A number of such entities have existed in the past. There are two traditional theories used to indicate how a sovereign state comes into being. The declarative theory (codified in the 1933 Montevideo Convention) defines a state as a person in international law if it meets the following criteria: # a defined territory # a permanent population # a government, and # a capacity to enter into relations with other states. According to the declarative theory, an entity's statehood is independent of its recognition by other states. By contrast, the constitutive theory defines a state as a person of international law only if it is recognised as such by other states that are already a member of the international community. Quasi-s ...

Desecration
Desecration is the act of depriving something of its sacred character, or the disrespectful, contemptuous, or destructive treatment of that which is held to be sacred or holy by a group or individual. Detail Many consider acts of desecration to be sacrilegious acts. This can include desecration of sacred books, sacred places or sacred objects. Desecration generally may be considered from the perspective of a particular religion or spiritual activity. To respectfully remove the sacred character of a place or an object is deconsecration, and is distinct from desecration. Some religions, such as the Roman Catholic Church have specific rules as to what constitutes desecration and what should be done in these circumstances.
