''Ishtam'' () () is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language romance film directed by Prem Nizar, starring Vimal and Nisha Aggarwal. A remake of the Telugu film ''Yemaindi Ee Vela'' (2010), it was released on 25 May 2012. Plot Saravanan is a modern city guy while Sandhya is a village modern girl who came to the city to find a job. Sandhya and Saravanan first meet while going to an interview. At first, they had some disagreements and fought. Then, the friendship blossomed into love and they had a relationship. They decided to marry and their parents did not agree to this, but they were married anyway and started to live happily at Saravanan's place. Ranjith K. Govind (born 21 February 1977), also known as K.G. Ranjith, is an Indian playback singer, working in the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada film industries and has sung more than 2500 songs. Early life Ranjith was born in Chennai, India into a Malayali family, hailing from Kalluvazhi, Kerala. He grew up listening to various kinds of music. He used to stay in a locality where there were many Keralites, and had a chance to participate in the local programs there. Later, a family friend suggested that he be trained in classical music. ''Thadaiyara Thaakka'' () is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni, starring Arun Vijay, Mamta Mohandas and Rakul Preet Singh. The title is derived from a devotional song titled ''Kanda Shasti Kavasam''. The film follows a taxi driver who is suspected of attacking a don and goes on the run as the don's brother and the gang start chasing after him. Director Magizh Thirumeni conceived of the film when he was bedridden with viral fever and took 7 years to develop the story and characters.
