Julio Cesar Pino is a former tenured Associate Professor of History at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, specializing in Latin American History and the Third World. He was fired in April 2018. He is a Fulbright Scholar and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Racial profiling or ethnic profiling is the act of suspecting, targeting or discriminating against a person on the basis of their ethnicity, religion or nationality, rather than on individual suspicion or available evidence.
