Isaiah Wong
Isaiah Robert-Johan Wong (born January 28, 2001) is an American professional basketball player for the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA), on a two-way contract with the Indiana Mad Ants of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Miami Hurricanes of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Wong earned third-team All-American honors as a senior in 2023, when he was also named the ACC Player of the Year. He was selected by the Pacers in the second round of the 2023 NBA draft. High school career Born in Piscataway, New Jersey, Wong played prep basketball at Notre Dame High School in Lawrenceville, New Jersey during his first two years. For his junior season, he transferred to Bonner & Prendergast Catholic High School in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. Miami Hurricanes Men's Basketball
The Miami Hurricanes men's basketball team is the college basketball team of the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. The team competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). The University of Miami men's basketball team was formed in 1926, but the program was later dropped by the university in 1971. In 1985, fourteen years later, the Hurricanes resumed play as an independent and joined the Big East Conference in 1991, winning the Big East regular season title in 2000. In 2004, in conjunction with the rest of the Miami athletic program, the team moved to the ACC. In 2012–2013, the team won its first regular season ACC championship as well as its first ACC championship. The UConn Huskies men's basketball program is the intercollegiate men's basketball team of the University of Connecticut, in Storrs, Connecticut. Philadelphia Catholic League
The Philadelphia Catholic League is a high school sports league composed (as of the 2012-13 year) of 18 Catholic High Schools in Philadelphia and the surrounding Pennsylvania suburbs. The league itself was founded in the summer of 1920 on the steps of Villanova academy (now Alumni Hall on Villanova University's campus) by Monsignor Bonner. The league originally consisted of three sports, one per season: Football in the fall, Basketball in the winter and Baseball in the spring.
